She Started Building at University
While studying in London, she was already a TikTok creator — filming, posting, building an audience, watching platforms grow rich from content that wasn't theirs.
She left in 2018 with that frustration intact and a conviction that the model was broken. Not as a complaint. As a direction.
She raised investment. She built products. She learned how platforms work from the inside — the mechanics, the incentives, the reasons why creators keep showing up for platforms that give almost nothing back. That knowledge only sharpened the original question.
In 2021, she launched Fr. App as a social platform. A place for real moments and genuine connection, in a feed already saturated with performance and polish. The community grew. The vision was right.
But the question still hadn't been answered.
